    On 17 January, in his third year of competitive acrobatic skiing, 18-year-old Brad Parks was injured while taking his first warm up jump in a local free-style competition. The accident left him a paraplegic and he realised that he would be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He had always been a competitive sportsman and started to wonder what sports would be available to him from a wheelchair.
