CHASSIS AND TYRES
The RPV4x4 will go where you want it to go. Traction from the four wheel drive and low ground pressure gives it the capability of travelling over very soft ground.
The chassis pivots horizontally which allows the front and rear sections to follow the ground independently keeping all four wheels firmly on the ground. The chassis pivots in the middle for steering which gives a total steering angle of 70 degrees. A sensor on the steering pivot tells the computerised valve system where it is at all times to ensure that the steering returns to the straight ahead position when the joystick is centralised.
Low pressure tyres give the RPV4x4 excellent traction on loose ground and through mud. Low inflation pressure makes the tyre soft and flexible and able to absorb the bumps on the road. This makes the ride even more comfortable for the operator.
Flotation tyres carry heavier loads while providing minimum soil compaction. The low air pressure capacity provides a soft ride, which minimises damage to equipment.
